When you get a lady inquiring for a custom motorcycle for her husband 50 year anniversary, you wish there were more women like her. What a lucky guy! She didn’t know what kind of style so as we were starting a desert sled project, something that Steve McQueen would have ridden in the Californian desert, she said “perfect”. The bike has been kept to the minimum, another gas tank from Japan, a custom seat from Ben, a Bates style headlight and an old school rear light. Tires are from Allstate tires from Japan, the exact replica (made from the same molds) of the American brand from the 40’s. The bike would definitely feel at home in Cali desert but it is being wildly ridden every day to get to work in style. Steve would ride it.
